1 bag of dark chocolate chips
Paper sticks (for stabbing)
Food Coloring (any/all colors)
Black sprinkles (or sprinkles of your choosing) *How much you need depends on how many Mumsters you want to make*
Small colored candy of your choice (We love the Halloween Skittles)
1/2 tsp coconut oil
Chocolate frosting (Or any color) for detail work (store bought)
Piping bags with tips (your choice)
Truly any color with a little imagination can make some fun Mumsters!
Instructions:
Have a couple of microwave bowls handy. Each color of chocolate gets a separate bowl. Place chocolate sprinkles in a separate bowl as well. Small piping bag for the chocolate frosting.
Take each marshmallow and stab a paper stick in the middle. Set aside.
Melting the chocolate... melt 2 handfuls of white chips, adding 1/4 tsp coconut oil in the microwave. Every Microwave is different, so try 30 seconds at first, then stir and check to see how melted it is. If you need more time add additional 15sec intervals until smooth.
For the green colored chocolate, Stir in 1-2 drops of green food coloring. (Do this for every color you want) Note: Black chocolate takes too much food coloring to make it truly black, so if you want to make black, melt dark chocolate and it works out great!
Dip each marshmallow in your colored chocolates then dip end of marshmallow in the sprinkles to start these mumsters.
Use a piping bag with frosting for the details of the face. Here is where you utilize the random candies to create a truly horrifying mumster of your own!
Have fun with it! The scary creations are endless!
